Yes, Moroccans need a visa for mainland China. Morocco is not on China's 30-day visa-free list.

The Exact Process in 6 Steps
- Create an account at consular.mfa.gov.cn/VISA with your e-mail.
- Fill in the form online. Nothing to print.
- Upload your photo and documents in the same system.
- Wait for preliminary approval. Photo or form not compliant? The file comes back: fix it, resubmit.
- Hand in your passport in Rabat, only after preliminary approval. Fingerprints are taken there unless you are exempt.
- Collect and pay (Monday–Friday, 15:00–17:00). Check name, dates and number of entries before you leave the counter.
Fingerprints: the exemption for short-stay visa applicants is extended to 31 December 2026. Long-stay visas such as the X1 are not covered.

Hong Kong: 30 Days Visa-Free
Moroccans can stay in Hong Kong for up to 30 days without a visa. Beijing, Shanghai and the rest of mainland China still require one.
